We own an LG Gas Dryer and have for three years. IT's broken 6 times in three years with every break-down costing us 2-3 weeks of drying. With two working parents and a family of 5, an inoperable, $700 dryer is truly problematic. We have an extended warranty (thankfully) and the GE-selected repair company, South Bay Appliance, has to order 25 LG parts PER DAY. So they will not expedite any parts.

If you need a dryer that's reliable...buy Kenmore. I wish we had.
